Welcome to our annual Sunnyvale Marching Invitational on Saturday, October 12th, 2024. We are very excited to host this event on our improved synthetic turf field at the Sunnyvale High School Stadium. A perfect venue for the smaller schools band (1A – 5A) that desire to be evaluated by an experienced and award-winning panel of judges.
The contest will run on a Prelims-Finals format - Groups will be judged in a 5 judge format Music/Music/Marching/Percussion/Colorguard. Each band will receive comments/video and a trophy for participation. Also, awards will be presented for Best in Class Winds, Drumline, Color Guard, Drum Major - Finalist Plaques and a Trophy for our Open Class Finals Champion.
Sunnyvale High School is located in Dallas County just East of Mesquite between I-30 and Highway 80. The stadium is convenient to restaurants, shopping, and hotels. However, no need to even leave the stadium since our band boosters will offer a variety of concessions (as well as Director Hospitality)!
