HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to Bass Trombonist Luke Orendorff!

We are incredibly proud to announce that Luke has earned the #1 Bass Trombone spot in the entire state of Texas for the ATSSB All-State Jazz Band!

This remarkable achievement places him among the top 20 jazz musicians in Texas, and he will represent Sunnyvale this February at the ATSSB All-State Clinic & Concert in San Antonio, 2026.

Luke’s dedication, musicianship, and passion for jazz have truly set him apart. Help us celebrate this outstanding accomplishment—way to go, Luke!

UIL Area Marching Contest-2025

Congratulations to the Sunnyvale High School Raider Pride Marching Band! They competed in the 2025 Area C 4A UIL Marching Contest and placed 13th overall in Prelims. (Photo Compliments to Wade Odom!!!)

UIL Regional Marching Contest-2025

Congratulations to the Sunnyvale High School Raider Pride Marching Band! They competed in the 2025 Region 3 UIL Marching Contest and earned a 1st Division Superior rating from all three judges. This means they advance to the Area Marching Contest once again!

UIL Area Marching Contest - 2024 - Lindale Eagle Stadium

Congratulations to the Sunnyvale High School Raider Pride Marching Band! They competed in the 2024 Area C 4A UIL Marching Contest and placed 13th overall in Prelims. We were the Alternate to Area Finals in a brand new Area and could not have been more proud of our performance!

We appreciate all of the support from everyone - including our Administration, Parents, Band Boosters and Community!

Congratulations to the Sunnyvale High School Raider Pride Marching Band! They competed in the 2024 Region 3 UIL Marching Contest and earned a 1st Division Superior rating from all three judges. This means they advance to the Area Marching Contest on November 2nd at Lindale Eagle Stadium!
